MALVERN, PA – October 25, 2021 – Advanced Technology Services Group (ATS) is happy to announce our successful completion of the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 certification. This milestone is a major move for the ATS Group on our mission to adopt best practices around security processes, security management, and data handling and reporting.
What is a SOC 2 Certification?

SOC 2 is a technical auditing process and certification defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that ensures a service organization manages enterprise data in a controlled and audited environment in accordance with industry best practices. SOC 2 consists of a suite of reports produced during an audit focusing on controls grouped into five categories called Trust Service Principles (Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy). These reports are conducted by independent auditors who assess an organization’s data processing systems for availability, security, and integrity and evaluate if adequate protections and controls are in place.
