This is an exciting hands-on technical role supporting the ATS Groups various lines of business. Work with some of the most cutting-edge solutions in both a data center and Cloud computing environment. Candidate will work closely with other systems engineers, architects, and management to determine and implement specific technical needs and priorities of an organization.
Responsibilities
This position will require a broad base of skills and technology knowledge. The ideal candidate for this position should be able to quickly adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while supporting multiple facets of ATS’ business, including:
- Equipment support and maintenance
- New installations, upgrades and equipment returns
- Documentation management
- Support of multiple software and hardware technologies
- General support for servers and systems by performing daily checks
- Infrastructure technologies typically include AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware, Brocade and Cisco SAN, IBM Spectrum Suite
- Interact with customers for requests, updates and reporting
- Exposure to all the latest enterprise computing technology
- Contribute to company R&D on cloud computing platforms
- Support for PoC’s in public clouds including one or more of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud
- Account administration
- Network support
- Office helpdesk, including email/Office 365
- New hire setup
- Third-party technology ownership
- Co-location equipment support and maintenance
- New installations, upgrades and equipment returns
- Documentation management

- Operating systems such as AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware (including SRM)
- Brocade and Cisco MDS Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- IBM Storage systems including SAN Volume Controller (SVC), Storwize V7000, FlashSystem, IBM Tape
- IBM Power Systems and PowerHA (HACMP)
- Ansible Tower, Puppet Enterprise
- Zabbix, Icinga, Splunk
- Backup solutions including Cohesity, Veeam, Cohesity, IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM)
- Pure Storage
- Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure
- Containerized Workloads, Container Orchestration, Kubernetes
Other Requirements
- Adapts to new technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work well on a team.
- Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills.
- Ability to self-manage and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to physically install IT infrastructure equipment, such as server, switch and storage equipment.
- Work in a typical office environment, but also able to commute to the different physical offices.
- Off shift responsibility possible.
- US Citizenship required.
